SOCOM buys Tekever surveillance drones, with quantity and price undisclosed

U.S. Special Operations Command has bought intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance drones from British maker Tekever, the company announced. The purchase followed validation and acceptance testing, flights at multiple locations and dedicated training for operators. Tekever withheld the number, model and configuration of the systems, and no contract value was given, so the scale of the buy remains unclear.
