Sweden hires Saildrone for a year of uncrewed Baltic Sea patrols

Sweden’s armed forces signed a year-long deal for Saildrone to operate four Voyager uncrewed surface vessels across Swedish territorial waters and economic zone in the Baltic, totaling 1,440 vessel-days. Saildrone will maintain and task the boats as a managed surveillance service. It is the first national deployment under the Nordic Defence Cooperation framework, which lets member countries buy the service quickly.
