Court orders Navy to reevaluate Saildrone's bid for its medium drone boat program

A Court of Federal Claims judge ruled that the Navy treated Saildrone unfairly when it cut the company from the $2.1 billion Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel competition, and ordered a fresh evaluation that includes a chance at the at-sea demonstration. Until that review is done, the Navy can commit no more than $1.5 billion to MUSV production. Blue Water Autonomy's parallel protest was denied.
