DARPA's Unison seeks autonomy that adapts team tactics and comms together

DARPA-PS-27-06, the Unison program, asks for collaborative-autonomy approaches that adjust a team's decision-making and its communications together while a mission is underway, so performance holds up while relying less on communications. The research covers teams of tens to hundreds of agents in multi-domain mission scenarios. The posted notice does not state award size, contract vehicle or eligibility limits, so proposers should read the full solicitation. A Proposers Day is set for Nov. 5 in Arlington, Virginia, and no separate abstract deadline is listed. Questions go to Unison@darpa.mil. Closes Dec. 4, 2026, 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
