Naval Group unveils a 37-meter drone boat built to escort warships

Naval Group has revealed the design of Seaquest M, a 37-meter steel-hulled medium uncrewed surface vessel that can operate alone or as a loyal wingman to crewed ships. It carries a fully containerized combat system and targets 10-day missions without human intervention. Sea trials of initial capabilities are planned within a couple of months, though the French Navy treats armed surface drones of this size as a later step.
