Special notice NAWCAD-SN-26-TRUASII invites cargo drones to a Marine Corps Unmanned Logistics System–Air demonstration in the continental U.S. during the weeks of Jan. 25 to Feb. 5, 2027. Aircraft should preferably weigh no more than 350 pounds at takeoff, fly at least 50 knots, carry a Mode-3/C transponder and complete two autonomous flights: 100 pounds over 40 nautical miles and at least 150 pounds over 10 nautical miles. Selection may lead to an Other Transaction prototype agreement; no dollar value is stated. Nontraditional contractors and small businesses may apply, but those selected must join the Naval Aviation Systems Consortium. Submit a 3-to-5-page white paper; technical questions are due Nov. 13.
